INTENTION

For this project, I collaborated on art, mechanics, systems, user interface design and narrative.

Our goal with Intention is to create a game that reflects the effect that emotional perception has on how people deal with confrontation and view the world around them.  We play off our expectations of players in general being unwilling to do things in a game that they view as impractical or unnecessary.



The core feature of the game is an emotional response system calibrated by the player at the start of the game that subtly changes the perceptions of the player as you progress through the game.

This game was developed in 10 weeks by: Garreth Boland, Jennifer Brown, Jon Chung, Andrew DeSciciolo, Ken Fleming, Seth Smith and Randy York.
